About

This banjo was a lot of fun to make, it was commissioned by a musical instrument academic who wanted a modern fretted banjo, but also really loved the stylistic elements of the Boucher banjos from the 1800's. He decided upon an 11 inch rim with an integral Rosewood tone ring, then as a nod to Boucher a scroll headstock with a double ogee running under the line of the 5th string, definitely something I will be revisiting in the future.
