These banjos were built pretty much along the Frank Proffitt lines but with some slight changes, the inner rim is a segmented block rim made from alternate Sycamore and Mahogany, the fret board has a scoop and the neck angle is also increased so that a higher bridge can be used to increase the string tension and the volume of the instrument.
